An Entrepreneurial Journey
Young people’s human and social capital is one of Europe’s greatest assets for the future. 40% of young people in Europe indicate an interest in self-employment (source: iEER). It’s clear that Young Entrepreneurship is hot (and it’s also a top priority of the European Commission (EC).
Why is entrepreneurship so hot? We tell you why. That’s because:
- It’s ‘Sexy’
- Barriers to entry are lower
- There are a great number of success stories. That’s why we think that we need to give our young people the experience they deserve. We must give the young entrepreneur of the future an extra push: ‘An Entrepreneurial Journey’ (AEJ).
There are a great number of success stories. That’s why the Dutch Foundation of Innovation Welfare 2 Work (DFW2W) and Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) thinks that we need to give our young people the experience they deserve. We must give the young entrepreneur of the future an extra push: ‘An Entrepreneurial Journey’ (AEJ).
Supporting youth in entrepreneurship is one of the priorities of the EU. AEJ is such a young entrepreneurship initiative, a specific hands on entrepreneurial project.
The AEJ Design
